Eligible applicants include public entities, including counties, cities, districts, state agencies, and Joint Powers Authorities. Eligible projects include solid waste cleanup project sites where cleanup is needed to protect public health and safety and/or the environment within the applicant’s jurisdiction. Funding$1,000,000 available for fiscal year (FY) 2020–21$500,000 per grant award Projects serving disadvantaged communities receive additional scoring points. Resolution required. Eligibility: California Labor Code section 1782 will prohibit charter cities from receiving state funds or financial assistance for construction projects if those cities do not comply with sections 1770-1782 of the Labor Code. Eligible applicants include public entities, including counties, cities, districts, state agencies, and Joint Powers Authorities.
