About this opportunity

Commerce seeks proposals to study Washington’s overall energy transmission capacity needs and identify high-priority transmission corridors through an open and transparent process. The findings will help Washington establish the Washington Electric Transmission Authority (WETA) as directed by SSB 6355, Section 3. WETA will work to make the state’s energy transmission system more reliable, resilient and affordable. Commerce intends to award one or multiple contracts for this project not to exceed $460,000.
