About this opportunity
2026-2027 Long Term Care Ombudsman program direct-to-award Under the Older Americans Act, every state is required to have an Ombudsman/Ombudsperson Program that addresses complaints and advocates for improvements in the long-term care system. In Rhode Island, there is only a single identified vendor with the capability to meet the service and coordination needs for the targeted population. The Office has maintained a strong relationship with this organization for nearly 20 years to advocate on behalf of and resolve complaints by residents of long-term care facilities and recipients of home and hospice care throughout the state.
