About this opportunity
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) is accepting applications for affordable homeownership projects from federally recognized tribes, community-based tribal organizations, and tribal housing authorities. This funding supports the creation of first-time homeownership opportunities through the construction of new housing units, purchase and rehabilitation of existing housing, affordability subsidies, and down payment assistance for low-income tribal households in Washington State. Please download and carefully review the Notice of Funding Availability (“NOFA”) for funding requirements and priorities, the application submittal process, and dates of significance.
