About this opportunity
The National Institute on Aging (NIA) intends to publish a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to invite NIH Stage Model Stage II-V research applications focused on the development of behavioral interventions for persons living with Alzheimer’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease-related dementias ( AD/ADRD ) and/or their care partners or caregivers. Awards made through this NOFO will support a milestone-driven planning phase for up to two years, with possible transition to a clinical trial phase pending successful completion of the required milestones. The intervention(s) to be tested as part of this NOFO are expected to be in a developed and testable form, with Stage I activities completed prior to the proposed work.
