The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) seeks to advance its mission by soliciting applications to support Multidisciplinary Research to Accelerate Hepatitis B Cure in Persons Living with HIV (PLWH) and Hepatitis B Virus (HBV). This program will focus on: elucidating mechanisms of persistence and pathogenesis; discovering and developing clinically relevant biomarkers; discovering and/or validating host and/or new viral drug targets; and developing non-invasive diagnostics.
