The purpose of this announcement is to solicit applications from crime laboratories for costs associated with establishing and maintaining a computerized crime laboratory portal, in accordance with Government Code, Section 411.162. Available Funding: State funds for these projects are authorized under the Texas General Appropriations Act, Article I, Rider 46 for Trusteed Programs within the Office of the Governor. Eligibility: Organizations: Applications may be submitted by accredited laboratories that comply with state regulations and rules for accreditation, including forensic analyst licensing for mandatory disciplines, promulgated by the Texas Forensic Science Commission in the Texas Administrative Code, Title 37, Part 15, Chapter 651.
