The goal is to improve the overall health of women, reduce infant sickness and death, and strengthen families and communities. Priority is given to underserved, uninsured, or medically indigent individuals. The Supporting Women s Health Services RFA was established in 2023 to provide a competitive grants process among local health departments (LHDs) and nonprofit community health centers to increase access to contraceptives and improve maternal and infant health within their local communities. Description- The Supporting Women s Health Services opportunity is focused on improving reproductive, maternal, and/or infant health for North Carolinians.
