About this archived opportunity

The 2021 HHC NOFA makes approximately $160 million available to developers in California for the acquisition, rehabilitation, and/or new construction of permanent supportive multi-family housing. HCD will reserve at least 20 percent of the funding for projects located in rural areas, and at least 10 percent will be reserved for Tribal Entities. Applications under the 2021 HHC NOFA will be accepted on the Over-the-Counter and the Competitive basis. Over-the-Counter Applications Over the counter funding under this NOFA is available only to applicants who seek supplemental funds for a project that the Department previously awarded HHC funds. Competitive Applications New project applications submitted under this NOFA will be funded on a competitive basis.
