The Georgia Fund is a state-funded loan program for water, wastewater, and solid waste infrastructure.Eligible projects include:Water and sewer linesTreatment plants, pumping stations, wells, water storage tanks, water metersNew subtitle D landfills, landfill expansions and closures, and landfill methane gas collection systemsIn addition to infrastructure improvements, GEFA offers low-interest loans for energy-efficiency and renewable energy projects at water and wastewater treatment plants, landfills, and municipal solid waste facilities.
