Eligible applicants for grant include any resident in an ACGME- or OPTI-accredited residency training program in physical medicine and rehabilitation or a physiatrist within five years of completion of an accredited residency or fellowship training program in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Applicant and/or at least one co-investigator must be members of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) . Application must be submitted on the ERF New Investigator Research Grant Application Form and must include a concise statement of the purpose of the research; anticipated outcomes; proposed budget (showing other sources of cash and in-kind support); and a letter of support from the sponsoring institution.
