The Georgia Energy Grant Program will fund projects in the areas of energy planning, energy efficiency, workforce development, and Energy Resiliency. The U.S. Department of Energy has awarded $566,286 to GEFA to support this concept for the current program year. Requests for funding can range from $50,000 to $150,00. A minimum 10 percent cost match is required, but additional leveraging of funds is encouraged to maximize the energy-related benefits of a project. Please note that, due to limited funding, the grants are highly competitive and only a small number of projects may receive a grant award. The application period is closed.
