The US defense strategy continues to evolve to best position the Department of Defense (DoD) to counter evolving global threats, to provide an effective geopolitical deterrent for the nation, and to maintain a decisive military advantage in light of global technological access. New techniques in system and platform resilience, agility, and open systems standards are needed to enable rapid integration of revolutionary sensor and mission system capabilities.
