The US Army, Capability Program Executive � Simulations Training and Instrumentation (CPE-STRI), Soldier Virtual Trainer (SVT) has a requirement to build a Virtual Marksmanship Simulator that is compatible with the US Army Next Generation Squad Weapons (NGSW), which include the M7 and M250 weapons and the XM157 Fire Control Smart Scope. The Program Manager for SVT team seeks to accelerate the development of the SVT components like a surrogate and / or weapon �drop-in-kit�, which replaces some of the internal components of the M7 and M250 with components that will allow simulated firing and functioning of the weapons in the SVT training simulator.
