The purpose of this Special Notice (SN) is to provide public notification of additional research areas of interest to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Biological Technologies Office (BTO), specifically for the forthcoming Fleetwood program. The DARPA Fleetwood program aims to develop novel catalysts to enable the conversion of biomass resources to produce carbon containing chemicals for resilient global chemical manufacturing. Specifically, the Fleetwood program seeks to revolutionize lignin valorization.
