This is a PreSolicitation Notice IAW Solicitation FA850426R0002 IAW the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul 5.101(c): Description: This requirement is for the procurement of 217 units of the AN/APX-119-0541Transponder, NSN: 5841-01-693-3952 CX , P/N: 4079100-0541 applicable to the C-130J Aircraft. These units are required to allow the Mobility Air Force (MAF) to employ existing Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) capabilities while selectively inhibiting �open air� position reporting systems such as Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Out and/or Air Traffic Control (ATC) Select (S).
