The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District intends to issue a solicitation package seeking to award a firm fixed-price construction contract through the one-step Request for Proposal, Best Value Trade-off solicitation process for the following scope of work: Construction of a new Child Development Center (16,632 sf) with adjacent outdoor play areas (16,667 sf) for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years of age. The facility will include all required program spaces including kitchen facilities, building information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) installation, and Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS) connection.
