This announcement constitutes the only notification of the ATF�s intent to solicit on a sole source basis. A formal combined synopsis/solicitation will not occur. All solicitation communication will occur directly with the proposed contractor. This acquisition is for a commercial item or service and is conducted under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12�Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. It is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The notice of award and the written sole source justification will be posted after award.
