Aircraft Recovery and Salvage capability is required to ensure sustained safe airfield operations throughout Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central (NAVEURAFCENT). NAVAIR 00-80R-20, NATOPS U.S. Navy Aircraft Salvage Operations (Ashore) prescribes that a salvage pre-mishap plan, trained individuals, and specialized equipment be provided to recover damaged or immobile aircraft from on-station/off-station aircraft accidents.
