Pre-Solicitation Notice for the notice of intent to award a sole source contract. This is not a solicitation. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Office of Research and Development (R&D), Regional Procurement Office (RPO) East in Pittsburgh, PA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis for a one (1) year base period to include one (1) option year with Harvard Medical School for Research and Development Subject Matter Expert Services in support of the VA funded research study: Assessing Quality of VA and Community Care in the MISSION Era. Harvard Medical School is the only known vendor that can provide the specialized services required for subject matter experts to adapt/translate a set of claims-based measures developed by Harvard for use in Medicare data to VA data.
