Background USACE is seeking information from interested and qualified contractors regarding potential modernization of excitation systems at Fort Peck Dam, a remote hydroelectric facility located on the Missouri River near Glasgow, Montana. The facility consists of two powerhouses with a total of five generating units. Existing excitation systems present reliability and supportability concerns due to aging equipment, partial legacy upgrades, and obsolescence of key control components. Powerhouse 1 � Units 1�3 Existing digital excitation regulator hardware remains serviceable.
