Salvage Marine Firefighting Supervisory Course
HOMELAND SECURITY, DEPARTMENT OF
About this archived opportunity
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is conducting market research to identify training providers capable of delivering a Salvage Marine Firefighting Supervisory Course. The objective of this RFI is to gather information on available training programs that address the Coast Guards requirement for personnel to supervise and oversee salvage and marine firefighting (SMFF) operations, with an emphasis on incident management and coordination rather than direct firefighting. The Coast Guard is looking to hold multiple classes annually at a location where personnel could conduct both classroom and hands-on training. A rough estimate of class size is 15-20 students. The training would cover the objectives and task list as outlined in the enclosure. Please review the attached document for further information and instructions.
