The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA, Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) has a requirement for a Contractor to provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The Weld Substation Stage 05 Construction Project enhances WAPA�s ability to provide reliable/cost-efficient electrical power by replacing the end of life KV1A transformer and station service. WAPA ordered the new KV1A transformer in 2023 and expects delivery in 2027.
