About this opportunity
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to CARESTREAM HEALTH INC for a maintenance service contract for Carestream systems. Carestream Health Inc. is the manufacturer of the DRX-1 X-ray system utilized by the NIOSH/CWHSP in the mobile health unit. Carestream technicians are certified and specifically trained and knowledgeable of the system. No authorized third-party maintenance providers were identified capable of maintaining the proprietary Carestream DRX-1 systems without impacting warranty, system integrity, or manufacturer support requirements.
