Background Information: National Technology & Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLC (NTESS) has a long history with decontamination foam technology and has licensed its patented technology to several companies. Some of the limitations of the previous decontamination foam were that it contained harsh chemicals which made storage and shipping difficult and that it often left a residue on surfaces after application. The Green Decontamination Foam was developed to address these issues. This new formulation is a sprayable decontaminant designed for routine application in public areas while leaving low residue after use.
