The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source, Firm Fixed-Price, purchase order for Solid Waste Removal and Dumpster Rental that is associated with the Rosebud Sioux Tribe Indian Health Services (IHS) in Rosebud, SD. Without the removal of solid waste on the IHS compound, we create a hazardous environment for the patients we provide health care for. The Rosebud Sioux Tribe (RST) has Law and Order Code 19-1-105, Which states only RST Solid Waste Department is able to provide this kind of service within the reservation boundaries. The vendor must be able to provide solid waste removal to help ensure the health clinic can provide continuity of care for IHS patients in a healthy environment.
