INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build (DBB) Upgrade Elevators Construction project at the Alexandria VA Medical Center, Pineville, LA 71360. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose is to update elevators in Buildings 7 and 9 at the Alexandria VA Medical Center, Pineville, Louisiana. The project is required to enable compliant and safe conditions for maintenance of electrical systems.
