This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal. The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (NIH-CC) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with the following vendor: PROAIM AMERICAS, LLC. Acquisition Description: The Department of Perioperative Medicine is requesting the purchase of an ERBE electrosurgical system from Proaim. It is used to cut, coagulate and ablate tissue with high precision using a high frequency electrical current. It will be used for gastroenterology surgery to minimize tissue damage. The ERBE being requested uses argon plasma coagulation which is a non-contact method to stop bleeding and destroy superficial tissue while reducing the risk of perforation.
