08 JUNE 2026: The NAVAL SEA Systems Command is updating the synopsis below to amend the availability duration for the USS JOHN P MURTHA (LPD 26) FY27 DSRA. The Availability is now anticipated to be slightly longer than 14 months, beginning in AUGUST 2027 and completing in OCTOBER 2028. Thus, per the 2026 NDAA, the Availability shall be restricted to the Homeport. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue solicitation N0002426R4412 for execution of the USS JOHN P MURTHA (LPD 26) Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA), planned for fiscal year 2027 (FY27). The solicitation will be issued on a Coast-Wide (West Coast) basis.
