Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with STRYKER CORPORATION. The Contractor shall provide preventative maintenance and repair services for the Stryker scope equipment as stated in the Statement of Work (SOW) for the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, WI 53705. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
