About this opportunity
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items, Army Contracting command-Redstone Arsenal intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order for the following: Fire and Emergency Services Division, Directorate of Emergency Services (DES), has a L/H/S requirement to support mission critical testing and development ranges on Redstone Arsenal. The test ranges have inherent dangers due to the nature and type of testing. Often these tests cause grass and wildland fires involving the Wildland Urban Interface, Protected Wetlands, and the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge. The 6x6 Utility Vehicle (UTV) is the best tool DES has found to both fight fire and reduce the impact on natural vegetation and habitat.
