PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, firm fixed price contract with Smiths Detection, Inc., 2202 Lakeside Boulevard, Edgewood, Maryland 21040 for the purpose of procuring BioDisc-E General Format Discs used exclusively with the FBI-owned Smiths Detection Mail Guard Pathogen Detection System. The BioDisc-E consumables are proprietary components engineered specifically for use with the Smiths Detection Mail Guard Pathogen Detection System currently deployed by the FBI.
