About this opportunity
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Contracting and Procurement (C&P), and Security Capabilities (SC) intends to issue a solicitation using other than full and open competition. Accordingly, the TSA intends to award a sole-source contract to Desko GmbH, Gottlieb-Keim-Str. 56, Bayreuth, Bayern, Germany, 95448. This contract will address requirements of the SC office to procure Boarding Pass Scanner (BPS) units able to validate passenger boarding passes by reading and verifying airline-specific encryption keys. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
