Sole Source Notice The Bureau of Reclamation intends to award a sole source contract to Siskiyou County, the only entity legally authorized under California Food and Agricultural Code �11501.5 to perform pesticide monitoring, inspections, and enforcement on lands within Siskiyou County, including the Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge (TLNWR) and Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge (LKNWR). A full description of the requirement is provided in the attached combined synopsis/solicitation. California Food and Agricultural Code �11501.5 grants exclusive jurisdiction to County Agricultural Commissioners for pesticide enforcement within county boundaries.
