About this opportunity

The General Services Administration (GSA) intends to award a Design-Build (DB) contract to upgrade the fire alarm system at the Carl B. Stokes U.S. Courthouse, 801 W. Superior Avenue, Cleveland, OH. The current fire alarm system was installed in 2001 and has exceeded its useful life. The main fire alarm control panel will be replaced and other components throughout the building will be repaired or replaced. Some of the smoke detectors need to be relocated to ensure correct separation distance from HVAC equipment. There are also pressurization issues in the stairwells and library atrium that may inhibit egress in some areas.
