G Road Water Main Repair

About this opportunity

The objective of this project is to provide a permanent, long-term solution for a damaged section of a 12-inch ductile iron water main on G Road. This work will replace a temporary emergency repair clamp currently in place. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Performing all necessary excavation to safely expose the damaged section of the existing 12-inch ductile iron water main. Installing up to 20 linear feet of new 12-inch ductile iron water main in accordance with AWWA C600 standards. Disposing of the removed section of ductile water main and the temporary repair clamp. Conducting a hydrostatic pressure and leak test (witnessed by the government) after the new pipe is installed. The repaired section must hold pressure with zero leakage for a minimum of two hours.
