Notice of Intent/Special Notice This is a notice of intent to solicit from a single source. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), intends to award a purchase order with Woods Hole Oceanographic Instituition for analysis of 60 samples of ferromanganese crusts and nodule samples as described in the attached statement of work. Award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is, to the USGS knowledge, the only source who can analyze samples, spiking ferromanganese crust and nodule samples, utilize an Anton Paar high pressure asher with both 5 and 18 quartz vessel conversion kits for sample digestions, use a Neptune multicollector inductively coupled plasma mass spectro...
