The Naval Services Training Command (NSTC) established a CPR AED Emergency O2 Training to teach how to administer oxygen and how to use a defibrillator Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a lifesaving emergency procedure for cardiac arrest. Failure to address these life-threatening complications can cause manning issues which could severely impact Warfighter Effectiveness if action is not taken.
