Project Title: Shared Visions Technical Assistance Iowa Code 279.51 Programs for at-risk children. Funds appropriated shall be allocated to the Area Education Agencies to assist school districts in developing program plans and budgets under this section and to assist school districts and child development programs under Iowa Code section 256A.3 in meeting other responsibilities in early childhood education. Scope of Work The grantee (AEA) will identify AEA representatives to provide technical assistance to Shared Visions Programs in the corresponding region during FY27. The funding of this grant agreement should serve to support the salary, benefits, and travel of AEA early childhood consultants who have responsibilities in providing technical assistance to Shared Visions Programs as outlined in the below chart: Performance Measure Parent Support Programs Preschool Programs Monthly Contact Hours (varies based upon number of grantees and requested support): Check in with grantees, either as technical assistance and/or professional learning opportunities Program contacts Provide professional learning Facilitate data collection and analysis Review and support progress toward program goals submitted within the awarded application Other technical assistance needed to support program implementation Program contacts Provide professional learning Facilitate data collection and analysis Support the implementation of applicable program standards Review and support progress toward program goals submitted within the awarded application Other technical assistance needed to support program implementation Quarterly Meetings: Participation in meetings with IDOE Shared Visions consultants; Review program requirements and expectations of grantees Submit Monthly Reports: Provide data related to completion of contract deliverables, program contacts, etc. Grant Award The AEA will submit an application by the designated due date. The AEA award amount is located in the attachments. Payment Provisions Fifty percent (50%) of the grant funds will be paid upon acceptance and approval. The remaining fifty percent (50%) of the grant will be paid upon or near January 1 of the current fiscal year.
