THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: This announcement seeks information from industry to assist with identifying sources of repair for an elevator at the Dayton VAMC 4100 W. 3rd St, Dayton OH 45428. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest and qualifications of elevator repair businesses. BACKGROUND. The only elevator servicing the two-story Fisher House (Bldg 425) at Dayton VAMC is not serviceable. It was damaged during a lightning storm. The elevator was manufactured by OTIS and is identified as H25701. The elevator was evaluated by an OTIS certified technician and two defects were noted: An I/O board was damaged and cannot be replaced, it must be repaired. The CPU is damaged and must be replaced.
