The Hemodialysis Clinic and Sterile Processing Service (SPS) at VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) have a need to replace the current reverse osmosis (RO) carbon filter tanks in use and replace them with new Catalytic Carbon Filter Tanks. Failed water quality testing would lead to facility wide impacts up to and including inability to see patients onsite. Weekly disinfection and water sample testing completed by Marvel Water LLC, is required for the Hemodialysis Clinic to maintain the ANSI/AAMI ST108:2023 standard, and adjustments to the equipment, if performed by any other vendor could disrupt the disinfection/testing schedule which would be unacceptable.
