About this opportunity

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate and award, on a sole source basis, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 and RFO FAR 12.102(a), a firm fixed price purchase order to Fondriest Enviornmental, Inc., for the purchase of multiple spare and replacement parts used to support the operations of the Chesapeake Bay Interpretive Buoy system (CBIBS). This contract is expected to have a period of performance of 30 days after the award date. Buoys deployed in the harsh environment of the Chesapeake Bay are prone to failure. The ability to prepare for repairs by maintaining a reasonable stock of high failure components will result in less system downtime, and a consistent data record for each buoy location.
