The Solicitation is for a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to correct hazardous electrical conditions and install new dedicated convenience outlet circuits serving the Watch Room, Mess Deck, Galley, COM Room, and associated attic spaces. Work should eliminate existing mis-wired conditions, resolve recurring breaker trips, and provide safe, code-compliant electrical service for mission-essential equipment. The facility is experiencing repeated circuit breaker trips and loss of power due to improperly wired and overloaded circuits originating from a junction box located in the Mess Deck CMU wall.
