The Government IS NOT awarding a contract or agreement directly from or as a result of this notification. This notification is solely for the purposes of advising industry of possible future Department of the Navy construction projects that are anticipated to use Other Transaction Authority (OTA). It is anticipated that any future awards of these projects using OTA will include applicable statutes (e.g. Davis-Bacon, Buy American Act, Miller Act, etc.). The core objective is to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient, and resilient facilities while accelerating delivery timelines and reducing both construction and lifecycle costs.
