The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, Cost Plus-Fixed Fee (CPFF) type contract with Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC), Melbourne, Florida to perform non-recurring efforts necessary for the design, software development, testing, and evaluation of the E-2D Mission Computer and Displays (MCD) software required to provide information to architect and evaluate low latency data routing using existing datalinks. The anticipated period of performance will be 24 months after contract award.
