The New York District (NAN) of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) proposes to perform maintenance dredging of the Hudson River Federal Navigation Project. The dredged material shall be transported to and placed at the federally approved Historic Area Remediation Site (HARS) located at the New York Bight Apex in the Atlantic Ocean. The proposed maintenance dredging will require the removal of approximately 200,000 cubic yards of critical shoals from the Federal Navigation Channel (FNC) at Haverstraw Bay, NY.
