The Department of Veterans Affairs, Battle Creek VA Medical Center in accordance with RFO 6.103-1, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Bronson Methodist Hospital, for a firm fixed price contract of a base year and four (4) option years for Battle Creek Reference Lab Testing. NAICS 621511 applies, the small business size standard is $41.5 million. Contractor shall reference laboratory testing services to include Microbiology (Blood Cultures), Blood Bank Services (ABO/Rh/Antibody Screens) and backup General Laboratory Testing for STAT testing and testing of specimen samples that are too unstable for long distance transportation in case of instrument failure.
