Description of Amendment 1 RFI Answer Question - Can you please provide designs for these chambers? Answer - The government is interested in the respiration chamber for in situ measurements described by the authors in this manuscript and illustrated in figure 2.A. It is important that this device is moveable between pens, but heavy enough to withstand impact from pens of full-size beef cattle (hence we expect it will need to be on a skid and moved by a skid steer). The device should ideally be able to entice animals to use it and monitor individual eructation (belches)/breathes via an intake manifold for carbon dioxide, Hydrogen, Oxygen, and methane.
