About this opportunity

1.0 Background Over the next decade, a significant volume of large-scale civil works and infrastructure projects are projected for development across the State of Alaska. These projects will require significant quantities of high-quality large stone and aggregate materials. Given Alaska’s complex geography, severe environmental conditions, and extreme logistical constraints, the Government anticipates that current regional material sources and the existing aggregate supply chain may have insufficient capacity to meet this projected demand. 2.0 Objective The Government is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) for market research and planning purposes only.
