About this opportunity
55HP 2-stroke, gasoline, submersible, air-deployable outboard motor designed as a self-contained propulsion system for small craft applications. Engine must be qualified for CRRC airdrop configurations. Must include features such as through-hub exhaust, pull-start ignition, tiller-handle throttle control, rapid dewatering capability, rapid post-submersion operability. Engine must have an EPA 3 star on gasoline or higher. Engines must be brand new and domestically manufactured and actively managed in the DLA Federal logistics system under an established National Stock Number (NSN).
